Black Bay 41, smiley dial
Just wanted to share a picture of my Tudor Black Bay 41.
I love how the BB41 takes the sleek, vintage-inspired charm of the Black Bay 36 and upsizes it to a more wrist-filling 41mm, all while maintaining that clean, streamlined elegance. The black and white dial and the lack of a rotating bezel give off serious Explorer I vibes, which I’m a huge fan of.
Tudor nailed the proportions with this one. It’s slim enough to slip under a cuff but versatile enough to wear casually. And while it’s not quite a “dress watch,” it has just the right amount of polish to keep things classy when needed.
Even though it’s powered by the ETA 2824 workhorse (instead of in-house), it’s reliable and gets the job done. Plus, the bracelet is super comfortable and pairs perfectly with the watch’s vintage-modern aesthetic.
